Two Capital Region residents have been arrested on felony drug charges following a traffic stop in Johnstown, New York.

You never know who might be driving next to you on the roadways of the Empire State. The drivers that cut us off, don’t use their turn signals, or go slower than the speed limit in the passing lane are always a menace to society but what else is going with our fellow drivers? Here’s what one routine traffic stop uncovered.

On Tuesday February 3rd around 11am, according to a New York State Police press release, Troopers stopped a vehicle on State Route 29A in Johnstown for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the investigation, officers discovered felony weight narcotics and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

We don’t have specifics on exactly what the driver and passenger had in the vehicle but both were arrested and now face several felony drug charges.

New York State Police arrested 35-year-old Kyle Z. Case of Amsterdam, and 45-year-old Robert F. Seeley of Gloversville. Here are some of their charges:

Both Case and Seeley were arrested and transported to State Police Fonda for processing. They were then brought to the Fulton County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
