The police received a report at 11:40 am about an email sent to the company claiming that its buildings located on Baršauskas and Chemijos Streets in Kaunas had been rigged with explosives, the news agency ELTA has learned from Kaunas County Police Headquarters.

The employees were evacuated and law enforcement searched the buildings and the company’s grounds.

No explosives or suspicious objects were found.

Spokesman of the Police Department Ramūnas Matonis told ELTA that a bomb threat was also made against Teltonika offices in Vilnius, but explosives were not discovered there either.

The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
