Ørsted has released its financial results for the first half of 2026, providing
an update on the company’s financial performance and strategic progress.

Rasmus Errboe, group president and CEO of Ørsted, said: “I’m pleased
with our strategic progress in the first half of the year. Our renewable
assets have produced more renewable energy in the first half of 2026 than
ever before,” adding that the company is creating new opportunities within
offshore wind while remaining on track to deliver its financial guidance
for the year.

“The recent volatility in global energy markets reinforces the need for
Europe to accelerate electrification and the build-out of renewable energy,”
Errboe said.

Ørsted reported first half earnings of DKK 11.9 billion, excluding new
partnerships and cancellation fees, compared with DKK 10.3 billion during
the same period last year. The company attributed the increase to higher
wind speeds and stronger power prices.

Net profit for the first half of the year declined to DKK 3.3 billion from
DKK 8.2 billion in the corresponding period of 2025.
