Warsaw announced the firing of Gordon Allen as its softball head coach, pending board approval.
Allen brings more than nine seasons of travel softball coaching experience, including experience coaching athletes at multiple levels and divisions.
Allen played at New Haven from 1997-2000, where he earned four varsity letters as a pitcher and first baseman and was a 1998 IHSAA 3A semi-state runner-up.
He then played at Huntington from 2000-2001 and later played at Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne, primarily as a pitcher/first baseman.
