(Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings have a new punter. The team signed Johnny Hekker to a contract for the 2026 season yesterday. Hekker is entering his 15th NFL season. He’s made four Pro Bowls during his career. In other team news, the Vikings also signed offensive tackle Ryan Van Demark to an offer sheet yesterday. Van Demark will only become a Viking if Buffalo declines to match Minnesota’s offer.
