Danske Bank has confirmed that its new Lisburn branch in Bow Street Mall will officially open on Monday April 20.
To accommodate the relocation, the current branch at 62 Bow Street will close permanently at 1pm the previous Friday, and the building will then be advertised for let.
Danske Bank previously announced the relocation of two other branches – the Ballymoney branch opened in its new location in November while the Coleraine branch opened at its new base in February.
The new Lisburn branch, just a short distance from the current bank, will boast a modern design with a range of self-service options for customers to complete their banking.
Branch manager Andy Donaldson said: “Our new branch in Lisburn is progressing well, and we look forward to welcoming our customers and the local community to this exciting new space in Bow Street Mall.
“This relocation highlights Danske Bank’s commitment to supporting the wider Lisburn area by offering a modern banking environment equipped with enhanced self-service facilities for both customers and colleagues.
“Our team will be on hand to assist with banking needs and ensure everyone feels comfortable in the new branch.”
In February Danske Bank reported a 12% increase in pre-tax profit of £250.4 million – a figure thought to be unsurpassed in banking history in the north.
Total lending at Danske rose 10% year-on-year to almost £7 billion, with new lending approvals for business customers alone exceeding £1 billion, while £790 million was approved in in local mortgage lending.
