Renovation work is being carried out in the commercial premises on the 1st floor of Kaisa House. The noise disturbance caused by the work will be at its peak from Friday, 6 February 2026, and the noise will also carry into the library. Work will also be carried out over the weekend of 7–8 February. The work is expected to take 3–4 weeks and will include drilling, among other things. We apologise for any inconvenience.
In addition, Länsisatama light rail will be conducting ground surveys in Kaisaniemi, between Pitkäsilta and Vilhonkatu, throughout February. The work will cause occasional noise, but the work area will move as the survey progresses and will not stay in the same place for long.
