LEGO seems to be in the business of remaking Batmobiles for the 20th Anniversary of LEGO Batman.
A trio of LEGO Batmobiles are releasing on 1 March 2026, and today, we’ll take a look at 76332 The Batman Batmobile, the muscle car from the acclaimed Matt Reeves film The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson in 2022.
If this feels like deja vu, you’re not wrong as a previous minifigure-scale version 76181 Batmobile: The Penguin Chase was released in 2022, and still fresh in most our memories.
With a unique design as striking as its fiery opening scene in the movie, this particular Batmobile is a fan favourite that now sees its third LEGO retail set in just four years. Let’s jump into the driver’s seat and take a look.

Unboxing
The box of this set is the thickest of the three Batmobiles, reflecting how it has the highest piece count of the trio as well.
Inside are three numbered paper bags, a loose chassis piece, an instruction manual, and a sticker sheet.
Build Process
Bag 1 includes the Batman minifigure and starts building work on the chassis, including some of the interior.
Bag 2 adds more detail towards the back, including the massive rear engine that was a delight to build thanks to its high level of detail.
Finally, bag 3 fleshes out the front to complete the model. You could definitely feel the higher piece count in the build of this set – it felt the most detailed throughout the build process and had lots of nice touches.
Minifigures
Just one minifigure is included, which is none other than Robert Pattinson’s Batman. This minifigure is absolutely glorious, thanks to the use of dual-moulded legs which were sorely missing on the 2022 variant. The dual-moulded cowl (with the white eyes) looks good as always, as does the very detailed printing across the torso and legs.
Underneath the helmet is this double-sided face print with fairly stoic expressions. I can’t say it looks a lot like Robert Pattinson, but the printed cheekbones look good when the cowl is on.
Completed Model
The completed model certainly rocks the chunky hot-rod vibe from Matt Reeves’ Batmobile. The predominantly black colour scheme suits the angular muscle vibe of the car, with a suitably bulky front end.
The car has a slight forward rake which looks great, giving it an aggressive stance.
The front is chunky, with a large dark grey lower bumper that is perfect for ramming the Penguin’s car and flipping it over. The front engine is represented with some gunmetal grey-coloured detail, along with some trans-red highlights to represent just how powerful that front engine is.
Interestingly, the engine block can be detached if you want to act out some repairs. Taking it out reveals the printed 20th Anniversary of LEGO Batman tile, along with some more trans-red pieces inside the engine block itself.
The rear is where the car truly shines, with a spectacular-looking engine block! The X-shape is well recreated with a trans-blue piece to represent the billowing exhaust flame, flanked by a pair of trans-red brake lights.
The engine itself is gorgeous and packed full of detail, with several metallic pieces to give it that extra shine. It was a joy to build and still a joy to look at when completed.
The roof of the Batmobile uses a matte 6×6 black tile, which can be removed for interior access. An interesting anecdote is that this is technically a brand new element, as the previous 6×6 black tile has a glossy/reflective texture, and has an injection mark in the middle, whereas this new tile is completely clean.
The interior has a good level of detail, including a steering wheel, metallic silver gear shifter, comfy dark tan seat, and two stickers representing some gauges. The back also has what appears to be a rollcage of some sorts, with two vertical bars.
The Batman minifigure fits inside comfortably, even with his cloth cape, as it’s quite a spacious interior!
This is quite a terrifying sight: seeing this Bat-themed hot rod pursuing you!
Comparison
Here’s how this Batmobile stacks up against the other two US$30 / AU$45 / £25 ones released: each of these Batmobiles from different eras have very different styles yet a shared design language, but 76332 The Batman Batmobile definitely feels the most substantial thanks to its increased piece count and heft.
Final Thoughts
I must confess that although I absolutely adore the film, I’m not the biggest fan of the Batmobile design from Matt Reeves’ The Batman.
However, 76332 The Batman Batmobile has won me over. The level of detail made the build process very enjoyable (especially if you’re a fan of Speed Champions-style builds), the completed model looks great, and the included Battinson minifigure is a huge upgrade over the ones from the 2022 wave.
With decent weight and heft and a reasonable piece count, the US$30 / AU$45 / £25 price point also feels very reasonable by today’s standards, staying within the established solo Speed Champions car price range.
Unfortunately I don’t have the 2022 version of this set to compare it with, but the four years’ time difference have improved this set for the better better in the aesthetics and innovation department. Definitely a set worth picking up if you are a fan of Matt Reeves’ Batman.
Build
The model has a lovely level of detail throughout, and generally looks accurate to its in-universe counterpart.
Minifigures
Perhaps one of the best live-action Batman minifigures we’ve seen – if only more figures used the printed/dual-moulded leg combo.
Real Value
The size and piece count of the final model feels about right for $30 USD, especially factoring in the fact that it’s a licensed set.
Innovation
There is a good level of detail, particularly around the engine block. Small pieces are used throughout to good effect, although nothing overly spectacular in terms of innovation.
Keepability
Despite being pretty recent, Matt Reeves’ rendition of Batmobile is already a fairly iconic vehicle and this version does it justice.
