Copenhagen Fashion Week – which celebrated its 20th birthday this season – has long offered up street-style inspiration aplenty, ranging from sleek Scandi minimalism to the more eclectic dressing we’ve seen in recent years. One thing has always stayed the same, though, which is the balance between practicality and fashion – a must, given that the easiest way to travel around Copenhagen is on a bike.

That was abundantly clear this season, when the biggest trend was the one-and-done coat – allowing the Scandi set to keep warm in the freezing temperatures, while also making a fashion statement. When it came to accessories, DeMellier’s bags were everywhere – which makes perfect sense, given their combination of functionality and polish.

Below, see the DeMellier styles that were spied in Copenhagen this fashion week.

The Midi Hudson

Thanks to its practical size, the Midi Hudson was a popular choice for long days of shows. Its soft yet structured shape pairs perfectly with oversized coats, cosy knitwear and relaxed denim. It’s both functional and chic at the same time – exactly the kind of bag you’ll carry for more than one season.
