An outdoor exhibition in Tallinn gathers children’s drawings to reveal how bombardment shaped their lives, memories, and hopes for returning home.
In Tallinn, the All-Ukrainian Association “Patriot” opened the children’s art exhibition “The Face of the Ukrainian Dream” on Friday, May 8, to draw attention to children growing up under shelling.
The organization announced on Facebook.
According to the organizers, the exhibition is located on the square in front of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and reflects children’s reactions to the tragedy caused by Russia’s full-scale invasion. Through their drawings and letters, they tell of losses, fear, strength, and the hope of returning home.
The project brought together 16 countries and more than 570 Ukrainian children who have endured occupation, lost loved ones, whose parents are on the front lines, and those who have left the country, including to Estonia.

The exhibition on Iceland Square (Islandi väljak) in Tallinn will run until May 28.
