When you took office, you promised the fans commitment, passion and honesty from you and the team. Have you been able to keep this promise so far?
Yes, so far it has to be said that all the themes we have conveyed have been put into practice by the lads and also by me. I believe that this will also be the case in the coming weeks and will then be supported by everyone within the club towards the final.
Despite the good points haul since you took office, BFC are currently only in twelfth place. What role does the cup play in this situation?
First and foremost, it’s about securing our place in the league. We still have a few games left, but we’re still really looking forward to the cup. It’s a highlight at the end of the season where we can prepare well for the cup, but at the same time we have to make sure we stay in the league as quickly as possible.
Of course, it’s a thankless situation not knowing how many teams will be relegated.
However, we have it in our own hands. With 36 points, we have a five-point lead and therefore a comfortable situation, but we don’t want to play with it.(Editor’s note: The interview was conducted two weeks ago)
