Under the Law on Employment, companies found hiding working hours face severe consequences. One of the most damaging sanctions is being added to the list of unreliable employers. This status results in long-term restrictions on participating in public tenders and disqualifies the company from receiving state support or subsidies. Such a listing also negatively impacts a company’s reputation with banks and other real estate market participants.
The State Labor Inspectorate reminds developers that construction in densely populated urban areas must be planned responsibly. The agency is urging all companies in the construction sector to review their time-tracking processes and ensure that night work is only conducted when absolutely necessary and within municipal noise limits.
