NEW BERLIN, Wis. (WAOW) — The Miss Wisconsin Competition returns this month with 31 women competing for the title of Miss Wisconsin 2026 from June 17-20 at New Berlin West Performing Arts Center.
An additional 23 women will compete for the title of Miss Wisconsin’s Teen 2026. Miss Wisconsin’s Teen will be selected June 19.
The shows will feature Miss Wisconsin 2025 Willow Newell and Miss Wisconsin’s Teen 2025 Natalie Popp alongside women from around the state as they take the next step toward becoming Miss America and Miss America’s Teen.
Newell of Racine won the title of Miss Wisconsin in June 2025. Newell, 23, is a 2025 graduate of Carthage College with a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theater and will be attending film school at Howard University this fall. Her Community Service Initiative is The ART of Belonging – aiming to educate all, young and old, on the importance of providing inclusive opportunities in accessing the arts. Newell is the first Black woman to hold the title of Miss Wisconsin.
Popp of Fitchburg was named Miss Wisconsin’s Teen in June 2025. Popp, 18, is a recent graduate of Lakeside Lutheran High School and will be attending Carroll University in the fall. Popp’s Community Service Initiative is Never Forgotten – Remembering Our Heroes, which emphasizes not only thanking active military and veterans but truly listening to and honoring their stories.
The public is invited to several events throughout the week to meet Newell, Popp and the women competing for each title. A meet and greet will be held June 14 at New Berlin Historical Society’s Open House from 2-4 p.m. A Miss Wisconsin Blood Drive will take place June 15 at New Berlin Public Library from 12:30-4:30 p.m., with donor registration available at www.misswisconsin.org.
