{"id":100034,"date":"2026-06-04T17:25:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-04T17:25:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/100034\/"},"modified":"2026-06-04T17:25:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T17:25:09","slug":"report-norways-crown-princess-mette-marit-visits-oslo-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/100034\/","title":{"rendered":"Report: Norway&#8217;s Crown Princess Mette-Marit visits Oslo hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Norway&#8217;s Crown Princess Mette-Marit, who suffers from an incurable lung illness, visited a hospital in Oslo on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Norwegian news agency NTB reported Mette-Marit was seen entering Oslo University Hospital in the afternoon, accompanied by her daughter, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and her husband, Crown Prince Haakon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The three left the hospital about two-and-a-half hours later.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The reason for the hospital visit was not immediately known.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Norwegian broadcaster NRK reported that Mette-Marit, 52, was carrying an oxygen tank on her back.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Last month, Haakon cut short a trip to Japan due to his wife&#8217;s health condition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Mette-Marit suffers from severe pulmonary fibrosis and has been preparing for a possible lung transplant for several months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to NTB, such operations can only be performed at Oslo University Hospital.
