Abdullahi Bewene has described his Super Eagles debut as one of the proudest moments of his career after featuring in Nigeria\u2019s 2-2 draw against Poland in Warsaw.<\/p>\n
The Banik Ostrava defender earned his first senior cap after receiving a late call-up to Eric Chelle\u2019s squad and quickly justified the confidence shown in him with an assured performance.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m very happy and proud to represent my country. I\u2019m ready to give more of this,\u201d the 21-year-old said. \u201cWhen I\u2019m on the pitch, I\u2019m ready to give my all. I just forget everything.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bewene also spoke about his desire to make Nigerians proud whenever he pulls on the national colours.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are plenty of people in my country. I have to make them happy. I have to make myself happy,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
