Bundesliga and the youngest player in the league\u2019s history, Europe\u2019s elite have been circling.<\/p>\n<p>Reports that emerged that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daveockop.com\/transfer-news\/kennet-eichhorn-in-talks-to-sign-for-liverpool\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Liverpool were very keen on the midfielder<\/a>, with a release clause valued at between \u20ac10-12m.<\/p>\n<p>But now Florian Plettenberg has reported that the 16-year-old wants to instead remain in his native Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The Sky journalist adds that the likes of Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig will now battle it out for his signature:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRejection in the last hours: Despite Liverpool\u2019s intensive efforts, Hertha BSC gem Kennet Eichhorn will not join the Reds. Eichhorn wants to stay in Germany. Leverkusen are pushing hard for a permanent deal as revealed last night. Leipzig remain hopeful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 16 y\/o has decided against a move to England, even though Liverpool\u2019s offer was the most attractive at first glance \u2013 both financially and in terms of the club\u2019s stature.
