Albany County Parks & Recreation also plans a family-friendly watch party at the Saint Rose Quad on June 13. The release says it will include a youth pick-up soccer game, bounce houses and food trucks, with livestreams of Qatar vs. Switzerland and Brazil vs. Morocco starting at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n
The New York State Office of General Services (OGS) plans a World Cup Watch Experience from 1-7 p.m. June 20 at West Capitol Park as part of Summer at the Plaza. According to the release, OGS will stream Netherlands vs. Sweden at 1 p.m. and Germany vs. the Ivory Coast at 4 p.m., with a kids zone and activities hosted by Afrim\u2019s Sports.<\/p>\n
More information can be found in a release from Discover Albany<\/a>.<\/p>\n Amsterdam<\/p>\n Amsterdam will host a free USA soccer World Cup Viewing Party at Shuttleworth Park on June 19 centered on the USA vs. Australia match.<\/p>\n Schedule<\/p>\n 12 p.m. Gates open<\/p>\n 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Live music featuring Local 11<\/p>\n 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Soccer clinic hosted by Amsterdam High School Soccer Program<\/p>\n 3 p.m. USA vs. Australia match<\/p>\n 5 p.m. Mini soccer tournament and DJ<\/p>\n 7 p.m. Live music featuring In the Dust<\/p>\n The\u00a0event will also include face painting, bounce houses, water slides, free Stewart\u2019s ice cream and a meet-and-greet with the Amsterdam Mohawks.<\/p>\n Additional information can be found on the City of Amsterdam Tourism Marketing & Recreation Facebook page<\/a>.<\/p>\n Troy<\/p>\n The Downtown Troy Business Improvement District and Troy\u2019s Italian Community Center will host \u201cKick It In Troy\u201d from June 11 through July 19.<\/p>\n The release says more than 60 FIFA World Cup matches will be shown at William D. Chamberlain Riverfront Park on Front Street and at the Italian Community Center at 1450 5th Avenue. Most matches starting before 10 p.m. EDT are expected to be shown in full on multiple large screens.<\/p>\n Organizers say the first match will be Mexico vs. South Africa at 3 p.m. June 11, followed by the United States Men\u2019s National Team against Paraguay at 9 p.m. June 12.
