{"id":105396,"date":"2026-06-11T09:28:11","date_gmt":"2026-06-11T09:28:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/105396\/"},"modified":"2026-06-11T09:28:11","modified_gmt":"2026-06-11T09:28:11","slug":"jackup-detained-following-allision-at-denmarks-esbjerg-port","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/105396\/","title":{"rendered":"Jackup detained following allision at Denmark&#8217;s Esbjerg Port"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Local newspaper JydskeVestkysten has stated that the total value of the direct and indirect costs of Wednesday&#8217;s mishap may be more than DKK1 billion (US$150 million).<\/p>\n<p>Brave Tern is now under the custody of the Danish Maritime Authority as part of an investigation into the allision.<\/p>\n<p>Brave Tern was involved in an <a aria-label=\"content\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bairdmaritime.com\/offshore\/vessels-rigs\/jackups-liftboats\/installation-jackup-undergoes-sea-trials-following-crane-mishap-at-spanish-shipyard\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">earlier mishap<\/a> when she accidentally struck a 25-tonne mobile quayside crane at a shipyard in Spain on November 23, 2024.
