The hosts made the brighter start. In the 13th minute, Dorgu cut inside from the right flank and fired into the near corner to open the scoring. The Danes continued to press, and Trubin came to Ukraine\u2019s rescue with two saves. The visitors responded midway through the half with a powerful long-range effort from Nazaryna, but the opposition goalkeeper dealt with the Shakhtar midfielder\u2019s strike. However, Andrea Maldera\u2019s side showed character and pulled a goal back in the 44th minute Mykolenko\u2019s cross from the left took a deflection off Yaremchuk and fell to Tsyhankov, who tapped into an empty net to make it 2-1. The second half began with a chance for the visitors, as H\u00f8gsberg nearly turned Mykolenko\u2019s low delivery into his own net. What followed was a spell dominated by challenges and fouls, with few clear-cut opportunities at either end. Then, in the 65th minute, a distressing incident occurred as Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch without any apparent contact and appeared to lose consciousness. He received medical attention for around 15 minutes before being escorted off the field to applause from the crowd.
