Despite the setback, she managed to steer coalition talks<\/a> and remain in power. The new government will replace the outgoing broad coalition comprising the Social Democrats, the Moderates and the center-right Venstre party. The coalition talks, which lasted for more than two months, are the longest in Denmark\u2019s history.<\/p>\n Frederiksen also said that there was no other choice but to deliver. \u201cWe live in the best country in the world. We have one of the world\u2019s strongest democracies. If we as politicians could not manage this task, then I don\u2019t really know what the Danish people should expect from us,\u201d admitting to the difficulties of the record-breaking government negotiations, calling it \u201clong and difficult.\u201d<\/p>\n
