Despite the setback, she managed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.eu\/article\/denmark-mette-frederiksen-coalition-government-formation-talks-resume\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">steer coalition talks<\/a> and remain in power. The new government will replace the outgoing broad coalition comprising the Social Democrats, the Moderates and the center-right Venstre party. The coalition talks, which lasted for more than two months, are the longest in Denmark\u2019s history.<\/p>\n<p>Frederiksen also said that there was no other choice but to deliver. \u201cWe live in the best country in the world. We have one of the world\u2019s strongest democracies.
