\n\tFinance and sales outfit Global Constellation<\/a> has closed a raft of key international deals on Daniel Fahre<\/a>\u2019s World War II drama \u201cBattle of Oslo.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film sold in North America (Samuel Goldwyn Films), Australia and New Zealand (Palace), Spain (Alfa), Former Yugoslavia (Karantajina), Japan (At Entertainment), and South Korea (Noori Pictures).<\/p>\n

\n\tPreviously released across Scandinavia by Scanbox, the film has grossed more than \u20ac5.5 million at the Norwegian box office and is set for release in German-speaking territories through Wild Bunch.<\/p>\n

\n\tA gripping true story of courage under fire, and the cost of standing up for what is right, \u201cBattle of Oslo\u201d recounts the decisive actions of Colonel Birger Eriksen, whose fateful choice shaped his nation\u2019s destiny.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn April 9, 1940, Norway is under siege. As German warships close in on Oslo, Colonel Birger Eriksen, commander of the undermanned Oscarsborg Fortress, makes a bold decision that changes the course of history. With no reinforcements, no clear order, and time running out, he makes a fateful call, launching the first shots against the German invasion and sinking the heavy cruiser Bl\u00fccher.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile his actions stall the enemy, delaying a full-scale invasion, they trigger a brutal response. Trapped for 10 hours under relentless bombardment, Eriksen must protect not only his country, but the lives of those closest to him.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBattle of Oslo\u201d stars Bj\u00f8rn Sundquist (\u201cThe Last King\u201d) as Colonel Birger Eriksen, alongside Andrea Berntzen (\u201cUtoya: July 22\u201d), Eldar Skar (\u201cThe Northman\u201d), Fridtjov S\u00e5heim and Jon \u00d8igarden.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film is directed by Daniel Fahre, written by Axel Hellstenius with contributing scriptwriter Melike Leblebicioglu Kaveh, and produced by Knut Inge Solbu for Fenomen Studios, with executive producers Tom Marius Kittilsen and J\u00f8rgen Storm Rosenberg.<\/p>\n

\n\tGlobal Constellation is currently at the Berlinale with J\u00e9r\u00e9my Comte\u2019s \u201cParadise\u201d and Sophie Heldman\u2019s \u201cThe Education of Jane Cumming,\u201d both screening in Panorama.
