RIGA: Latvia\u2019s capital city is a futuristic city in the psychological drama Strokes of Madness, a Belgian\/Latvian\/Dutch project which aims to take the viewer inside the mind of a teenager whose talent turns against him.\u00a0Filming in Latvia will wrap at the end of June 2026.<\/p>\n
Lander Haverals and Dominik van Malder are the directors of the film, and Thibaud Dooms, Dara Oguntubi, Janne Desmet, Wim Willaert, and Dominique Van Malder play the main characters.<\/p>\n
Hans Everaert of Menuetto Film (Belgium) is producing in coproduction with Darta V\u012bgri\u0113ze, Inese Boka-Grube, and Gints Grube from Mistrus Media<\/a>, as well as Volya Films (the Netherlands), and Tarantula (Belgium).<\/p>\n VAF (Flemish Audiovisual Fund), Screen Flanders, CCA (Centre du Cin\u00e9ma et de l’Audiovisuel de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Wallonie-Bruxelles), the Belgian Tax Shelter, the National Film Centre of Latvia<\/a> (with 204,800 EUR), and the Netherlands Film Fund are backing the project.<\/p>\n Latvian production designer Karlis Utinans is part of the crew, alongside music composer Tom Auni\u0146\u0161 and dozens of other Latvian professionals.<\/p>\n Filming is taking place in Latvia and Belgium, and the premiere is set in 2027.<\/p>\n Production Information:<\/p>\n Producer:
