The Weeknd<\/a>\u00a0kicked off the European leg of his \u2018After Hours Til Dawn<\/a>\u2019 tour in Copenhagen this week \u2013 watch footage below.<\/p>\n

The Canadian artist performed the first of two sold-out shows at Parken Stadium\u00a0on Friday night (June 19),\u00a0having played\u00a0two dates at Manchester\u2019s Etihad Stadium earlier this month.<\/p>\n

\u2018After Hours Til Dawn\u2019 has\u00a0become the highest-grossing tour ever by a male solo artist <\/a>since its launch in 2022,\u00a0surpassing\u00a0$1billion\u00a0in gross revenue and selling\u00a0more than 7.5million tickets.<\/p>\n

Production\u00a0at the show\u00a0includes a 40-foot gold sculpture created by Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama, the largest fine-art commission ever created for a live concert production, and the staging also features sprawling golden ruins, immersive visuals,\u00a0lasers\u00a0and flames.<\/p>\n

A gargantuan 36-track\u00a0setlist leaned heavily on The\u00a0Weeknd\u2019s\u00a0latest album \u2018Hurry Up Tomorrow<\/a>\u2019, while also taking in material from across his career. Playboi Carti<\/a> also appeared during the show, joining him on \u2018Timeless\u2019 and \u2018RATHER LIE\u2019.<\/p>\n

The tour continues\u00a0with multi-night stadium runs\u00a0in\u00a0Munich, Lille, Paris, Amsterdam, Nice, Milan, Frankfurt,\u00a0Warsaw\u00a0and Stockholm.<\/p>\n

The Weeknd will then return to the UK later this summer for five nights at Wembley Stadium on August 14, 15, 16, 18 and 19, before heading to Ireland for two shows at Dublin\u2019s Croke Park on August 22 and 23. Find any remaining tickets here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After the European run, the tour will continue into Asia, with dates scheduled in Tokyo, Jakarta, Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok,\u00a0Hong Kong\u00a0and Kuala Lumpur, the final dates of the \u2018After Hours Til Dawn\u2019 tour.<\/p>\n

The dates continue The\u00a0Weeknd\u2019s\u00a0partnership with Global Citizen, with a\u00a0portion\u00a0of every ticket sold going towards education access for underprivileged children and food relief. To date, he has donated more than $8.5million to the XO Humanitarian Fund and Global Citizen through the tour.<\/p>\n
