European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos stressed that tension in the bilateral relations between Ukraine and Poland should not hinder the EU integration process.<\/p>\n
She expressed such hope in a conversation with journalists in Brussels.<\/p>\n

Navrotsky on Friday evening, June 19, decided to strip Ukraine\u2019s President Volodymyr Zelensky of the Order of the White Eagle.<\/p>\n
Commenting on this decision, he noted that Poles understand the threat from Russia and at the same time stressed that the Poles have their own threshold of patience that has been crossed.<\/p>\n
Following Navrotsky\u2019s decision on June 20, Zelensky announced that the Order of the White Eagle would be sent to the President of Poland by mail. The head of state assured that Ukraine remains open to all substantive formats of interaction with partners.<\/p>\n
In turn, those high Polish decorations were refused by the head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanov, Ukraine\u2019s ambassador to Poland Vasyl Bodnar, Ukraine\u2019s Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga, former presidents Leonid Kuchma, Viktor Yushchenko, Petro Poroshenko, former Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and former Ukraine ambassador to Poland Vasyl Zvarych.<\/p>\n
Despite the tensions in the relations, both sides reaffirm their willingness to engage in dialogue and support a strong strategic range of cooperation between Ukraine and Poland in the context of Ukraine\u2019s European perspective.<\/p>\n
