{"id":117156,"date":"2026-06-26T20:17:20","date_gmt":"2026-06-26T20:17:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/117156\/"},"modified":"2026-06-26T20:17:20","modified_gmt":"2026-06-26T20:17:20","slug":"denmark-dr-confirms-participation-at-eurovision-2027","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/117156\/","title":{"rendered":"Denmark: DR confirms participation at Eurovision 2027"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>DR, the Danish national broadcaster, has confirmed that Denmark will compete at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest in Austria.<\/p>\n<p>Denmark thus joins the list of countries who have so far confirmed their participation at Eurovision 2027.<\/p>\n<p>The 2027 Danish Eurovision entry and act will be determined via the traditional Danish national final Dansk Melodi Grand Prix.<\/p>\n<p>DR, the Danish national broadcaster has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dr.dk\/event\/melodigrandprix\/indsend-dit-hit-til-dansk-melodi-grand-prix-2027\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">published the rules and regulations<\/a> for DMGP 2027 and opened the song submission window for the Danish national final. Artists wishing to partake in the competition can submit their entries and submit their applications <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dr.dk\/event\/melodigrandprix\/tilmelding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">here<\/a>. The song submission window will close on 25 October 2026.<\/p>\n<p>DMGP 2027 will be held at the Sydbank Arena in Kolding on Saturday 13th February 2027 . The show will be broadcast live on DR 1 and DRTV at 20:00 CET.<\/p>\n<p>Denmark in Eurovision<\/p>\n<p>Denmark joined the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957 and has won the competition thrice ( 1963, 2000, 2013).
