{"id":118405,"date":"2026-06-29T09:52:13","date_gmt":"2026-06-29T09:52:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/118405\/"},"modified":"2026-06-29T09:52:13","modified_gmt":"2026-06-29T09:52:13","slug":"estonia-spared-europes-worst-heat-but-hotter-days-still-ahead-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/118405\/","title":{"rendered":"Estonia spared Europe&#8217;s worst heat, but hotter days still ahead | News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While Estonia has escaped the worst of the heat wave gripping much of Europe, hot weather and thunderstorms are still in the forecast as temperatures climb in the coming days.<\/p>\n<p>The Estonian Weather Service (EWS) has issued <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilmateenistus.ee\/ilm\/prognoosid\/hoiatused\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">level 1 weather warnings<\/a>\u00a0for thunderstorms across the country as rising temperatures could fuel scattered severe weather expected Sunday evening and overnight into Monday, particularly in Northern Estonia.<\/p>\n<p>Daytime highs are forecast to reach up to 30 degrees Celsius on Sunday and Monday, remaining in the upper 20s in the days to follow, with slightly cooler conditions along parts of the coast.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-photo-id=\"3671674\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/3671674h0739t24.png\"\/>The four-day forecast as of June 27, 2026.
