It\u00a0also provides new funding for the \u201cDanish model,\u201d a\u00a0mechanism that allows partners to\u00a0buy weapons and defense products directly from Ukrainian companies, <a href=\"https:\/\/news.az\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">News.Az<\/a> reports, citing <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/united24media.com\/world\/denmark-puts-660m-behind-ukraines-weapons-pipeline-including-drones-and-artillery-20338\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">United24Media<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>About $195 million will be\u00a0allocated through that model to\u00a0support purchases from <a href=\"https:\/\/news.az\/news\/ukraine-claims-strike-on-russian-military-airfield-in-crimea\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ukraine\u2019s<\/a> defense industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis has strengthened Ukraine\u2019s ability to\u00a0purchase significant quantities of\u00a0drones, artillery systems and ammunition with short delivery times. In\u00a0addition, additional funds have been allocated for ammunition for long-range artillery, which is\u00a0in\u00a0high demand in\u00a0Ukraine,\u201d Denmark\u2019s Defense Ministry said.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry noted that since 2022, Denmark has provided Ukraine with military support totaling around $11.52 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, on\u00a0June 30, Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov\u00a0met\u00a0with Danish Defense Minister Jeppe Bruus.<\/p>\n<p>The two officials discussed further steps to\u00a0scale Ukrainian technologies, develop anti-ballistic capabilities, and attract additional funding for the needs of\u00a0Ukraine\u2019s Defense Forces.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0key focus was expanding the Drone Deal, a\u00a0partnership built around Ukraine\u2019s battlefield drone experience and defense technology. Fedorov said Ukraine is\u00a0ready to\u00a0share combat experience, data, and modern warfare technologies with partners.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is\u00a0a\u00a0mutually beneficial partnership.
