Some want to see a city\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/culture\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">cultural hot spots<\/a>, others want to try its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/culture\/food-and-drink\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">foodie offering<\/a>, and some just want to see where their feet take them after landing. <\/p>\n<p>          <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"c-ad__placeholder__logo\" src=\"https:\/\/static.euronews.com\/website\/images\/logos\/logo-euronews-stacked-outlined-72x72-grey-9.svg\" width=\"72\" height=\"72\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><br \/>\n          ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>          <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"c-ad__placeholder__logo\" src=\"https:\/\/static.euronews.com\/website\/images\/logos\/logo-euronews-stacked-outlined-72x72-grey-9.svg\" width=\"72\" height=\"72\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><br \/>\n          ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>But something we can all agree on is the importance of finding a dreamy sunset spot \u2013 preferably one where you can enjoy a glass or two of your tipple of choice.<\/p>\n<p>Should you find yourself in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/travel\/2024\/03\/12\/cool-climes-great-transport-links-and-an-intriguing-history-why-you-should-visit-lithuania\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lithuania<\/a>\u2019s capital Vilnius looking for somewhere to watch the sky turn orange and pink with a drink in hand, we have good news, as the revolving restaurant at the top of the TV Tower has just reopened.<\/p>\n<p>Found some 165 metres off the ground, Pauk\u0161\u010di\u0173 takas, aka Milky Way panoramic restaurant, makes a full 360-degree rotation every hour.<\/p>\n<p>Among the highest in the EU \u2013 with the tallest being Berlin\u2019s Sphere Restaurant, at 207 metres \u2013 the reimagined eatery has taken a rather novel approach to its wine selection, featuring only vineyards situated at elevations above 165 metres above sea level.<\/p>\n<p>On the food front, the menu focuses on seasonal Lithuanian ingredients, with a contemporary take on the country\u2019s cuisine.<\/p>\n<p>Other ways to see the city<\/p>\n<p>While the Vilnius TV Tower is a fantastic way to see the city, there is an alternative \u2013 if you\u2019re feeling brave.<\/p>\n<p>The city is one of just a few European capitals that allows hot-air balloons to fly above its centre, and the sky is filled with them each sunrise and sunset during the summer months.<\/p>\n<p>From above, you can see sights like the Neris River and the UNESCO-listed Old Town, including Gediminas Castle Tower.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Not everyone has the same priorities when travelling.
