\n <\/a>\n <\/p>\n\n Hours before the NATO leaders’ dinner this Tuesday, Trump has once again added fuel to the fire in his already poor relations with European leaders. And, in fact, he has blamed the refusal of the European Union member states to let the US keep Greenland on the United States’ military withdrawal from the European continent.<\/p>\n
\n The North American leader has assured that his relationship with the allies is now “conditioned” by Greenland and the fact that, in his opinion, Denmark “is not doing enough to help” the Arctic island. “It is not allocating the necessary money to give it real support. Greenland is strategically very important for the United States, and it is surrounded by Chinese and Russian ships,” Trump warned.<\/p>\n
\n The President of the United States has assured that he “began to question” the resources that the North American power dedicates to the protection of Europe and its military presence there as a result of the dispute over Greenland. “We don’t need to incur this expense,” Trump said he thought at the time.
