{"id":124440,"date":"2026-07-07T17:05:20","date_gmt":"2026-07-07T17:05:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/124440\/"},"modified":"2026-07-07T17:05:20","modified_gmt":"2026-07-07T17:05:20","slug":"the-10-most-livable-cities-in-the-world-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/124440\/","title":{"rendered":"The 10 most livable cities in the world"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">EIU released its annual global ranking of livability.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The ranking of more than 100 cities is based on five measures, including healthcare and education.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copenhagen held on to the top spot.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copenhagen is still the <a class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/american-moved-to-most-livable-city-copenhagen-not-happy-2026-1?utm_medium=syndication&amp;utm_source=yahoo&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoocom\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"elm:link;elmt:article_link;slk:most livable city;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;context_link&quot;,&quot;yModuleName&quot;:&quot;content-canvas&quot;,&quot;yLinkText&quot;:&quot;most livable city&quot;}\">most livable city<\/a> in the world.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">That&#8217;s based on the Economist Intelligence Unit&#8217;s new ranking of 173 cities, using five measures to rank the quality of life: stability, healthcare, culture and environment, education, and infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;Copenhagen&#8217;s continued dominance comes down to consistency across the board rather than a single standout strength,&#8221; Ana Nicholls, EIU&#8217;s director of industry analysis, said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Last year, Copenhagen took the <a class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/world-best-cities-quality-of-life-copenhagen-vienna-europe-2025-6?utm_medium=syndication&amp;utm_source=yahoo&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoocom\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"elm:link;elmt:article_link;slk:top spot;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;context_link&quot;,&quot;yModuleName&quot;:&quot;content-canvas&quot;,&quot;yLinkText&quot;:&quot;top spot&quot;}\">top spot<\/a> from Vienna. The two cities continued to have perfect scores of 100 in a few categories this year, including perfect scores in education and infrastructure for both. Copenhagen also maintained its score of 100 for stability; this category looks at the prevalence of crime and other threats. Vienna continued to have a perfect healthcare score.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">EIU said all of the top cities had a perfect score of 100 for education, and almost all had a 100 for healthcare. Many of the top cities landed at 95 for stability, with the rest of the top 10 scoring perfectly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Did you move to one of the top places on the list? Tokyo moved up this year, rounding out the top.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;Tokyo&#8217;s climb into the top ten is particularly striking, given that large, densely populated cities usually contend with higher crime rates and greater strain on infrastructure,&#8221; Nicholls said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">US cities still missed out on the top spots. At the regional level, Western Europe had the highest score, followed by North America.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Below are the top 10 most livable cities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">10.
