The show will take place at Vilnius Town Hall, a historic civic building in Lithuania’s capital, where the venue will be turned for one evening into a stage shaped by reality-show aesthetics.

At the centre of the event is Latvys’s latest collection, “MAX DRAMA”. Inspired by social media culture, reality television and the persistent human wish to be seen, the collection asks where authenticity ends and performance begins.

The “MAX DRAMA” presentation is scheduled for September 7 at Vilnius Town Hall. Advance tickets are already on sale through kakava.lt.

For international readers, Vilnius Town Hall is one of the city’s central ceremonial and cultural spaces. Its use as a setting adds another layer to a collection concerned with public visibility, image-making and performance.

Latvys describes the collection as a response to a time in which daily life can feel increasingly close to a broadcast. “One day I caught myself thinking that we all live as if in a reality show. We fight for attention, visibility, our own airtime,” the designer says.

Raimedas Latvys is presented in Lithuania’s fashion scene as one of the more visible designers of the younger generation. In recent years, he has shown collections at major Lithuanian fashion festivals, won the LRT project “Mados klubas” and dressed a number of Lithuanian and international public figures.

LRT is Lithuania’s public broadcaster, and “Mados klubas” was a fashion-related project that helped bring wider attention to his work.

After several years working under the brand name FENCISUKA, Latvys has decided to create under his own first and last name. According to him, the change is not an attempt to distance himself from earlier work, but a natural step toward letting the clothes speak before the boldness of a brand name.

The collection brings together reality-show aesthetics, pop culture references and elements of contemporary everyday life. Camouflage motifs and masking layers appear in the garments, but not as a simple wish to disappear.

In Latvys’s interpretation, concealment becomes a paradox. People may want to hide, yet also want others to notice the act of hiding. The idea reflects a public culture in which privacy can itself become a visible performance.

“Watching people, I kept asking myself why some seem so interesting and others do not. Eventually I understood that the difference is very simple: some perform life, while others truly live it. I think that is exactly what ‘MAX DRAMA’ is about,” Latvys says.

Although the idea for the collection came from observing society, the craft of the garment is also central to this presentation. Latvys and his team are experimenting with new constructions, materials and techniques.

According to the event information, this makes “MAX DRAMA” one of his most technically ambitious works to date.

Latvys’s appearance in the official Vilnius Fashion Week programme gives the designer a broader platform than a standalone collection launch. It places his work within a recognised fashion event in Lithuania’s capital and brings his questions about identity, visibility and performance before both the fashion community and the city audience.

The debut also reflects how fashion events in Vilnius are increasingly used not only to present clothing, but also to discuss public image, self-representation and the relationship between emerging designers and their audiences.

                                Context & actions
About this article

                                Report
Share

                    Source check
Šaltinio eiga

Tekste remiamasi BNS paskelbta informacija apie Raimedo Latvio kolekcijos „MAX DRAMA“ pristatymą Vilniuje.

Checks

Patikrinta renginio data ir vieta: rugsėjo 7 d., Vilniaus rotušė.
Atskirtos faktinės detalės nuo kolekcijos kūrybinės interpretacijos.
Išlaikytos pirminiame šaltinyje minimos biografinės detalės apie dizainerį.
Nenurodyti papildomi bilietų ar programos duomenys, kurių šaltinyje nėra.

SourceBNS

ScopeVilnius

Updated2026-07-08 19:39

        Report

                        Article contextPeople & topics1#2#Vilnius events#Vilnius Town Hall

Prepared by the infoerdve.lt editorial team based on BNS information.
