According to the police, the baby was only a few hours, at most a day, old. \u201cThe umbilical cord was still attached,\u201d a spokesperson for the public prosecutor\u2019s office confirmed to the German Press Agency.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fire department was alerted shortly after 9:30 am, according to the report. A paramedic pronounced the infant dead at the scene. The public prosecutor\u2019s office has identified a suspect.
