President Donald Trump re-posted a bizarre AI-generated image with the American flag superimposed over three different countries, seemingly reigniting calls to annex Canada, Greenland, Cuba, and Venezuela into the union<\/p>\n

The president took to Truth Social on Tuesday morning to post the AI image showing him speaking to different world leaders, including British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and others from the Oval Office(Image: realdonaldtrump\/TruthSocial)<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump re-posted a bizarre AI-generated image on social media with the American flag superimposed over three different countries, seemingly reigniting calls to annex Canada, Greenland, Cuba, and Venezuela into the union.<\/p>\n

The president took to Truth Social in the morning to post the AI image <\/a>showing him speaking to different world leaders, including British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and others from the Oval Office.<\/p>\n

The image shows the president displaying a map that shows the American flag covering Venezuela<\/a>, Canada, Cuba, and Greenland, countries he has previously called to take over. He did not accompany the post with a caption. It comes after Trump’s ‘disgusting’ bedroom habits were revealed.<\/a><\/p>\n

Trump had previously posted that same image in January, after American<\/a> forces captured Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, at his home in Caracas.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Trump has posted fake images alluding to the U.S. takeover of sovereign nations. Also in January, the president shared an image of himself, Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio posing with the Stars and Stripes in Greenland.<\/p>\n

Users on social media were quick to troll the president\u2019s post, with some joking about his continued efforts to expand the union.<\/p>\n

\u201cNobel Peace Prize material, right there,\u201d one user said on X, recalling the failed president\u2019s efforts to win the esteemed award.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see Venezuela on that map is ours also. What about Cuba? Have to take that also and make it a state,\u201d another user commented.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrump likes the image of himself as the man who expands America, dominates other countries, humiliates allies, and redraws the world by personal decree. Americans and people around the world see him as a buffoon and wonder how this country voted for him,\u201d a third furious user posted.<\/p>\n

Trump calls for U.S. takeover of sovereign nations<\/p>\n

World leaders have repeatedly pushed back on Trump\u2019s threats. For instance, at the height of his efforts to take over Greenland in January, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney took to the World Economic Forum in Davos to denounce the American president\u2019s comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf great powers abandon even the pretense of rules and values for the unhindered pursuit of their power and interests, the gains from transactionalism will become harder to replicate,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Around that time, Trump also threatened Canada with harsh tariffs on goods imported from several NATO allies until a deal was reached for the \u201ccomplete and total purchase of Greenland.\u201d Likewise, since winning the 2024 presidential election, Trump has repeatedly joked about making Canada the U.S.\u2019s 51st state, calling Prime Minister Carney a \u201cgovernor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Separately, after Maduro\u2019s capture, Trump said Washington would run Venezuela until a peaceful transition occurred. Months later, however, interim President Delcy Rodriguez is still in charge, though she has warned Trump that Venezuela is \u201cnot a colony, but a free country.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in Cuba, tensions appear to remain high, as the country\u2019s electrical grid collapses and Trump calls for a change in regime on the island. Last month, the U.S. Treasury Department leveled sanctions on Cuban President Miguel D\u00edaz-Canel, Castro\u2019s son and grandson, along with others. In response, U.S. President Donald Trump said of Cuba: \u201cWe\u2019re going to handle that as soon as we\u2019ve finished\u201d military operations in Iran.
