Dubai, UAE \u2013 Novo Nordisk has appointed Mr. Venkat Kalyan as General Manager\u00a0for\u00a0Novo Nordisk Gulf. The appointment reinforces the company\u2019s confidence in the Gulf\u2019s evolving healthcare ecosystem and the UAE\u2019s growing role as a strategic centre for medical research, innovation, and partnership-led growth.<\/p>\n
In this role, Mr. Kalyan will oversee Novo Nordisk\u2019s operations across the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Yemen. He will focus on strengthening healthcare partnerships, advancing innovation, and improving outcomes for patients living with chronic diseases.<\/p>\n

Mr. Kalyan brings nearly 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector, including 18 years at Novo Nordisk, most recently as General Manager of the Gulf Emerging Markets Cluster. His prior leadership experience spans across diverse markets such as India, Switzerland, Denmark, Middle Africa, South Africa and \u00a0Gulf countries.<\/p>\n
