Abbey CBS take on St Patrick\u2019s, Dungannon at the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds in Armagh<\/a> with the Danske Bank MacRory Cup and the title of Ulster<\/a> post-primary champions at stake for the two historic schools.<\/p>\n

The last time that Abbey made it to the final was in 2006, with Jody Gormley at the helm as the Newry<\/a> school took their fifth title in their history.<\/p>\n

St Patrick\u2019s Academy, Dungannon, needn\u2019t cast their memory as far back, making the show-stopper in 2024, where they lost to Omagh CBS in the end.<\/p>\n

Last year saw St Patrick\u2019s College, Maghera, secure the honours over Abbey Vocational School of Donegal at Celtic Park.<\/a><\/p>\n

In their semi-final, Abbey CBS took out Omagh at Fintona, with the much-fancied Omagh leading 0-10 to 0-6 at the break, but the winners from Newry produced a brilliant second-half comeback at Fintona to dig out a win and qualify for their first Danske Bank MacRory Cup final in two decades.<\/p>\n

In the other semi-final, St Patrick\u2019s Academy managed to beat Abbey VS in extra-time to make sure they got another chance to add to their tally of five MacRory Cup titles, the latest of which came in 2009.<\/p>\n
