On July 26, the Kremlin leader publicly began claiming that Ukraine would supposedly lose its western territories in the future.<\/p>\n
In particular, Putin repeated the lie that Ukraine\u2019s western territories were a gift from dictator Joseph Stalin, who, he claimed, transferred them as part of a single state.<\/p>\n
“By the way, I\u2019m sure that sooner or later Ukraine will lose these western territories. And what belonged to Poland, Hungary, and Romania, sooner or later, maybe not tomorrow, not the day after tomorrow, but in a year, two, 10, or 15 years, will historically fall back into place,” Putin fantasized.<\/p>\n
Interestingly, he didn\u2019t even explain exactly how this might supposedly happen.<\/p>\n
The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already responded to the Kremlin leader\u2019s latest fabrications.<\/p>\n
They made it clear that Putin\u2019s statements have nothing to do with reality.<\/p>\n
“We unequivocally reject V. Putin\u2019s false speculations regarding the alleged partition of Ukraine and Poland\u2019s involvement in it \u2013 this is a cynical attempt to stir up antagonism between allies,” stated a spokesperson for the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n
Against this backdrop, Wewi\u00f3r assured that his country has no territorial claims on Ukraine and never will.<\/p>\n
“Our position remains unchanged: we fully support Ukraine\u2019s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Russian disinformation will not divert attention from Moscow\u2019s brutal aggression,” the spokesperson for the Polish Foreign Ministry concluded.<\/p>\n
