The authorities in Seattle, Berlin and New York are investigating three unrelated attacks that left several people dead and dozens injured in recent days. Here’s what to know.<\/p>\n

In Seattle: The police arrested one person and were looking for another after three people died in a shooting<\/a> at a crowded food festival in Seattle. Another four people were injured, including a toddler. Investigators believe the two suspects were shooting at each other. [AP]\u00a0 <\/p>\n

In Berlin: The suspect involved in what the authorities called an “Islamist terror attack” was shot dead by police<\/a> after a major manhunt. The attacker drove a van into a crowd near a Pride event in the German capital before stabbing several people with a machete, killing at least one person and injuring 29 others. In New York: The man accused of stabbing a Jewish man and an Asian man on the Upper West Side in Manhattan was charged with hate crimes<\/a>, officials said.
