\n\tAlana Hadid is getting her own sneaker.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Tuesday, the older half-sister of Bella and Gigi, is set to release a sneaker with Danish label Arkk Copenhagen during the city\u2019s fashion week celebrations.<\/p>\n

\n\tFor the tie-up, Hadid updated the brand\u2019s Forma Runner silhouette in a bright pink colorway. The shoe features a mesh and vegan leather upper with an EVA sole. Only 120 pairs were made, each with Hadid\u2019s signature on the insole.<\/p>\n

\n\tHadid first came to Copenhagen Fashion Week<\/a> in 2023. What was meant to be one visit became a habit \u2014 she returned the following season, and the one after that, and somewhere along the way the city became something closer to home. \u201cI just love Danes,\u201d she said. \u201cScandinavian fashion has always inspired me, but what keeps bringing me back is the people.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIt was in Copenhagen where she discovered Arkk<\/a>, an independent brand born in the city in 2014. Since then, the sneakers<\/a> have become a constant \u2014 worn throughout Copenhagen Fashion Week<\/a> and back home in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve never found a sneaker brand that felt so me,\u201d Hadid noted<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s androgynous and still has flair. It\u2019s utilitarian and still stylish. I can wear it to a dinner and on a hike. I keep coming back.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tA collaboration was the natural next step for the model. \u201cI\u2019ve always wanted to collaborate on a shoe, and I wear Arkk so much that they feel like they were designed by me already,\u201d she said. \u201cSo when we started discussing working together, the idea of a collab felt natural.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKasper H\u00f8j Rasmussen, founder of Arkk Copenhagen, added that the collaboration<\/a> between the brand and Hadid came easily. \u201cShe knew the brand the way you only know something you\u2019ve lived with,\u201d the founder said. \u201cThis collaboration is our way of honoring that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe collaboration officially debuted during Copenhagen Fashion Week with an intimate dinner bringing together editors, creatives, tastemakers, and close friends of both Hadid and Arkk.<\/p>\n
