{"id":1414,"date":"2026-02-06T16:56:06","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T16:56:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/1414\/"},"modified":"2026-02-06T16:56:06","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T16:56:06","slug":"denmarks-eifo-backs-second-engie-loan-global-trade-review-gtr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/1414\/","title":{"rendered":"Denmark\u2019s\u00a0EIFO\u00a0backs second Engie loan | Global Trade Review (GTR)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Denmark\u2019s export credit agency has backed an\u00a0\u20ac850mn\u00a0HSBC-led\u00a0loan to\u00a0French utility company\u00a0Engie, to help finance European wind projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gtreview.com\/news\/tag\/export-and-investment-fund-of-denmark-eifo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">EIFO<\/a>)\u00a0said\u00a0on February 6\u00a0it\u00a0was providing a\u00a095%\u00a0buyer credit\u00a0guarantee\u00a0because Engie has inked supply contracts with\u00a0Danish exporters\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gtreview.com\/news\/tag\/hsbc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">HSBC<\/a>\u00a0is mandated lead arranger, co-ordinator, documentation bank,\u00a0EIFO\u00a0agent\u00a0and\u00a0facility agent.
