Police<\/a> are investigating after activists vandalised a logistics firm in Glasgow<\/a> they claim has links to Israel<\/a>.<\/p>\n The group targeted DB Schenker, part of DSV, which they allege provides \u201clogistics transport services\u201d to Israeli defence technology company Elbit Systems<\/a>.<\/p>\n Activists say they by-passed security in the early hours of Tuesday and covered the building\u2019s foyer and offices with paint and messages saying \u201cDrop Elbit\u201d on the walls.<\/p>\n Pictures from the scene also showed broken windows at the building, which is in the Hillington area.<\/p>\n The group said the action came after incidents targeting DSV at Birmingham Airport and Bristol earlier this year.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for the Glasgow group said: \u201cAs long as DSV and its subsidiaries maintain their contract with Elbit Systems, property damage and disruption will continue.\u201d<\/p>\n The autonomous group said dropping Elbit could be DSV\u2019s \u201cwisest logistics decision yet\u201d.<\/p>\n A Police Scotland spokesperson said: \u201cAround 6am on Tuesday August 4, police received a report of premises in Mossland Road, Hillington, Glasgow, having been vandalised.<\/p>\n
