Stockholm Culture Festival, (Kulturfestivalen), various locations around Stockholm<\/p>\n<p>Stockholm Culture Festival is a huge city-wide celebration that attracts millions of visitors to its hundreds of events every year. One of the highlights is, of course, the many live performances, with Hurula, Agnes, Lia Kali and Greekazo among the artists taking to the stage this year. Little ones have a firm place in the festivities too, with everything from baby salsa and kids\u2019 dance to magic shows and theatre. But it doesn\u2019t stop there. Nytorgsfesten, S\u00f6dermalm<\/p>\n<p>Nytorgsfesten brings together pretty much everything we love about S\u00f6dermalm: flea markets packed with bargains, great street food and a wonderfully artsy festival vibe.. Friday kicks off with a lively carnival parade, bring an instrument if you have one lying around, before the weekend rolls on with a packed programme of good food and laid-back hangs. Browse the hippie market and Latin Street, feast on ice cream at the ice cream square and check out the spectacle on the corner of Sk\u00e5negatan and S\u00f6dermannagatan, where Funnybones Production is putting on a circus for the weekend. Come evening, things step up a notch with Mosquito Block Party and Silent Disco under the August sky.<\/p>\n<p>When? August 14\u201316. Stockholm Film Festival, Kungsholmen<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s almost time for the much-loved late-summer tradition when Stockholm Film Festival transforms R\u00e5lambshovsparken into a giant outdoor cinema. Settle down on the grass and catch a film under the open sky. This year\u2019s line-up includes \u2018Pulp Fiction\u2019, \u2018Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again\u2019 and \u2018The Lord of the Rings\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>If you want even more options before deciding where to spread out your picnic blanket for a cosy movie night, check out the Stockholm Culture Festival programme, which features dozens of screenings across the city. Among them, you can catch \u2018Flow\u2019 at the new Vattentorget by Slussen or animated classic \u2018Finding Nemo\u2019 in the scenic grounds behind the Maritime Museum.<\/p>\n<p>When? Water Festival at Tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rden, S\u00f6dermalm<\/p>\n<p>Mocktails, DJs and partying are on the agenda as water brand Aqua d\u2019Or takes over the fun park at this classic Stockholm institution for three days with a pop up-festival. As well as plenty of party vibes, the line-up includes yoga, a round-the-table ping-pong tournament and fruity mocktails at a dedicated water bar (the regular bars will also be open).The festival wraps up on Saturday with a big party with a pool party theme, where we\u2019ve heard rumours of both beach balls and giant flamingos.<\/p>\n<p>The festival is free until 22:00, after which an entry fee applies.
