Are viral high-resolution images real photos or screenshots actually showing the person suspected of punching a man in broad daylight in Warsaw, Poland? No, that’s not true: Two AI detectors said the images were generated by AI. The real recording of the incident had a much lower quality, and thus, the images could not be authentic screenshots of that video.<\/p>\n

According to the police statement<\/a> (archived here<\/a>) and news reports<\/a> (archived here<\/a>), the incident occurred in June 2026 near the Z\u0142ote Tarasy shopping mall<\/a> in the Polish capital. As of August 7, 2026, law enforcement said that they secured the original recording of the attack and were looking for the suspect.<\/p>\n

Yet, the only video of the incident<\/a> (archived here<\/a>) did not show that person’s face in high resolution.<\/p>\n
