It will be available through Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Marking the announcement is a new trailer which dives into a wide array of gameplay features, showing off the core gameplay systems that you will use with Noa and Aaron, her cat companion with the mind of a man from 1999, on their adventure.

In particular, the trailer explores the cycle of the game’s investigation mechanics, how this ties in with the full moon (known as Esbats), and the day and night cycle of those particular days. During the day Noa will explore and search for clues to find the identity of the Original that she is hunting that day, largely trying to stay covert and not be discovered. She can still lean on Aaron’s abilities as a cat, though, able to sneak into places and use his more nimble exploration abilities, as well as intimidating those fearful of black cats. At night, Noa can really emerge as a Zaindaris witch, hunt down the Original and fight them at their point of greatest strength and weakness.

We’ve played 1666: Amsterdam at an event hosted by Panache in the city itself. Check out our preview here.

The game comes from Panache, the studio founded by Patrice Désilets, the creative director of the first two Assassin’s Creed games. You can definitely see he hasn’t lost his style of twin time period storytelling.

Source: press release

A couple months on from its reveal at Summer Game Fest, Panache Digital has now announced that 1666:…

[101
51879,199,200
post-143425","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-amsterdam","tag-1666-amsterdam","tag-amsterdam","tag-netherlands
["GET
