Its total turbine backlog has now reached 32.5 GW, valued at \u00e2\u0082\u00ac36 billion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"523\" data-end=\"746\">The company reported adjusted operating profit of \u00e2\u0082\u00ac446 million for the quarter, compared with just \u00e2\u0082\u00ac57 million a year earlier. Its operating margin reached 9.4%, putting Vestas close to its long-term target of a 10% margin.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"748\" data-end=\"917\">All of the orders booked during the quarter were for onshore turbines, while offshore orders remain more volatile because projects are larger and take longer to develop.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"919\" data-end=\"1247\">Vestas said the improvement reflects stronger demand for wind projects as governments and developers become more willing to pay <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-08-12\/vestas-raises-profit-outlook-as-wind-turbine-orders-climb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">higher prices<\/a> for new capacity.
