demand surged around the eclipse, with The i Paper saying demand for hotel rooms along the path of totality soared in recent weeks as many tourists flooded to ideal viewpoints in Spain.<\/p>\n<p in mostly rural areas under the eclipse&#8217;s path across the north of Spain and the Balearic Islands, while also describing a large-scale police operation and public safety campaign to prevent in Greenwich Park saying, \u201cI am sitting here with my neighbours and we have been telling each other \u2018Happy Eclipse Day\u2019,\u201d as she watched the eclipse.<\/p>\n<p>Power-grid planning NESO spokesperson saying, \u201cThe notice has been issued as a precautionary market measure due to the solar eclipse, and there is no risk to customers\u2019 electricity supply,\u201d while describing how the eclipse would block sunlight during Europe\u2019s current heatwave.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-sans text-[16px] tracking-[-0.1px] leading-[28px] text-nc-text-secondary dark:text-[rgba(255,255,255,0.7)] mt-5 first:mt-0\">In Spain, Reuters said the event was a chance to showcase less-travelled regions and draw tourists from overcrowded beach resorts, but it also noted
