{"id":149592,"date":"2026-08-20T19:50:13","date_gmt":"2026-08-20T19:50:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/149592\/"},"modified":"2026-08-20T19:50:13","modified_gmt":"2026-08-20T19:50:13","slug":"babcock-signs-agreements-with-danish-firms-on-hybrid-naval-systems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/149592\/","title":{"rendered":"Babcock Signs Agreements With Danish Firms on Hybrid Naval Systems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/dronefront.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">&#13;<br \/>\n    <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1787255413_175_WhatsAppVideo2026-05-15at09.23.58.gif\" alt=\"The Drone Front\" width=\"1280\" height=\"539\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UK defense company Babcock has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.babcockinternational.com\/news\/babcock-advances-anglo-danish-naval-cooperation-with-new-agreements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">signed<\/a> three agreements with Danish companies to explore autonomous technology, system integration, and equipment for naval platforms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Announced at DALO Industry Days, the agreements involve the technology firms STORMBORN and CUBEDIN, as well as the maritime equipment supplier SH Group.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They are intended to examine how Danish technologies could contribute to fleets combining crewed warships with uncrewed systems.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Babcock and STORMBORN will assess the integration of uncrewed technology into wider naval programs, focusing on interoperability and the coordinated operation of crewed and autonomous platforms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement with CUBEDIN covers standardized physical and digital interfaces.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Such interfaces could allow navies to add or replace mission systems, sensors, and autonomous capabilities without extensive changes to the ships that carry them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A separate agreement with SH Group will address cooperation on ship and naval platform systems.
