It&#8217;s proposed to be 14,000 to 16,000 square feet.<\/p>\n<p>A bowl, quarter pipes, and a pump track will all be included in the park.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Chauncey Rhodes is the store manager at Viking Tree Trading Co. in Downtown Berlin. He says he thinks every community needs a skatepark.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to Rhodes, the project has been talked about for several years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s just an overall really cool thing to include everybody,&#8221; he says. &#8220;I think skateboarding is, I think it builds confidence with a lot of young kids.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Berlin&#8217;s Mayor Zack Tyndall says the town is waiting for a formal award letter from the state before moving forward with the park.
