Netflix has unveiled the trailer for the LEGO One Piece animated special. The project consists of two episodes, set to be released on September 29, 2026.<\/p>\n
In addition to the LEGO construction set-inspired visual style, the special will feature an unusual narrative structure. Usopp will become the storyteller, recounting the Straw Hat crew’s journey through East Blue and the Grand Line to Tony Tony Chopper, regularly embellishing events and portraying himself as the main participant.<\/p>\n
Showrunner, writer, and executive producer Tom Hyndman explained that Usopp was chosen as the narrator due to his tendency to exaggerate events:<\/p>\n
“We wanted to help new viewers get comfortable in the vast world of One Piece while also giving long-time fans a fresh and fun take on familiar events from the first two seasons.”<\/p>\n

I\u00f1aki Godoy, Emily Rudd, Mackenyu, Jacob Romero, Taz Skylar, and Michaela Hoover returned to their roles from the “One Piece” series. According to Hyndman, the actors’ familiarity with their characters allowed them to improvise more freely during recording.<\/p>\n
Atomic Cartoons, The LEGO Group, and Shueisha are responsible for the production.
