{"id":149906,"date":"2026-08-21T10:59:14","date_gmt":"2026-08-21T10:59:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/149906\/"},"modified":"2026-08-21T10:59:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T10:59:14","slug":"armenian-festival-and-fair-held-in-vilnius-public-radio-of-armenia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/149906\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian Festival and Fair held in Vilnius \u2013 Public Radio of Armenia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On August 15, the \u201cArmenian Festival and Fair\u201d was held in Bernardine Garden in Vilnius, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Lithuania\u2019s recognition of Armenia\u2019s independence.<\/p>\n<p>The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Lithuania in cooperation with the Office of the Honorary Consul of Armenia in Lithuania and the Union of Armenians of Lithuania, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania.<\/p>\n<p>Opening remarks were delivered by Ambassador of Armenia to Lithuania Ara Margarian, Ambassador of Lithuania to Armenia Andrius Pulokas, and Head of the Lithuania-Armenia Friendship Group of the Lithuanian Seimas Ingrida Bra\u017eiulien\u0117. During the event, His Eminence Archbishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of the Baltic States, conducted the Blessing of the Grapes ceremony, presenting the meaning of the feast and the significance of this tradition within the Armenian Church.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.armradio.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/775955976_1474277371405514_7028434859231418382_n-scaled.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" data-id=\"209247\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/775955976_1474277371405514_7028434859231418382_n-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-209247\"  \/><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/en.armradio.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/774243032_1474277524738832_8571338292505575445_n-scaled.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" data-id=\"209248\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/774243032_1474277524738832_8571338292505575445_n-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-209248\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The festival brought together Armenian entrepreneurs and producers from Lithuania and Estonia, who showcased Armenian cuisine and a variety of Armenian food and beverages.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors had the opportunity not only to taste Armenian dishes, but also to learn more about Armenian culinary traditions. Jermuk mineral water, Armenian wines and preserves were presented at dedicated stands.
