Despite Infantino’s apologies and continued backing from some regions, the DBU demands a leader capable of uniting FIFA and restoring credibility.<\/p>\n
While Infantino seeks a fourth term until 2031, there’s growing pressure from European, Asian, and North American confederations calling for his resignation. The DBU has also issued a boycott threat, asserting non-participation in FIFA tournaments without assurances against opening governance to private investors again.<\/p>\n
